Introduction

Project Sierra Romeo is a one-day event with a cash prize for the winning team, which will take place every first and third weekend per season. By agreeing to participate, you also agree with the rules indicated in this document. The rulebook is subject to change at any time by Administration.

Contact

The official communication methods are the website (project-sr.com), E-Mail, and Discord Server (project-sr.com/discord).

Competition Structure

Format

Event Format

The event will be held as a single-elimination bracket with 32 to 128 participating teams. All teams that sign up successfully* (see Point “Signups”) will be placed at a random bracket spot.

* If there are more than 128 signups, the participating 128 teams are going to be selected by Project Sierra Romeo.

Match Format

The matches will take place in the following format: 3 vs 3 KotH Bo1’s.

Each team will have to send the 3-player active lineup on the website at the beginning. After submitting the lineup and entering the clan, the match starts and the first players do their 1 vs 1 (normal friendly battle in the clan).

The winner of the battle stays and plays against the next player of the losing team. The team whose 3rd player gets eliminated loses the match.

Website

General

Teams are forbidden to share any project-sr.com links with individuals outside the team, with the exception being PSR admins.

Signups

Once the event signups have opened, the team may sign up a roster of 3-5 players. The system is going to verify if the player tags are correct and if the player is already registered in another team. Once the border of the field is green, the player is valid for use in Project Sierra Romeo.

Confirm Mail

Once the captain has filled the signup form, there will be an email sent automatically to the entered mail address with an email confirmation link.

Note! The mail may be received in the trash bin. Contact PSR admin if no email has been received within 5 minutes after signup.

This link needs to be opened to verify that you have entered a valid mail address and that you will take part. It will lead you to your team page, where you can see later matches by using this link.

On the team page, which can be shared with your teammates, you have access to change:

Note! Teams that do not verify their email are going to be excluded when the bracket is created.

Lineups

Lineups have to include 3 players. Lineup deadlines are 3 minutes prior to the planned game start time, using the form on the website. Once both teams have sent the lineups, or the deadline has passed, both lineups are going to be displayed for both teams at the same time. Make sure to update the page to see changes.

If a team did not send their lineup before the deadline, the system will select the first 3 players from the roster in that order.

Results - KOTH

The battle results (crowns) have to be submitted on the website after each battle. The website is going to display all the matchups. Both teams are responsible for reporting battle results on the website between every battle to get to the next match.

Game End

The winning team of the game is responsible for submitting the final winner of the match.

Roster

Roster Parameters

A roster contains 3 to 5 unique and valid players.

A player may be excluded even after the team has successfully signed up if the player conducts themselves in an inappropriate way.

The team may have 1 additional person as team captain. The team captain may only take part in the lineup if the captain is one of the 3 to 5 players in the roster.

The team captain receives the team website link through email right after signup. If the link is not received, contact PSR admins.

Roster Changes

Teams are free to make as many roster changes as they want on the website. The website will automatically check if the player is unique and valid for use in PSR. Once the check-in deadline passes, roster changes will automatically lock.

Match Rules

Clanlink

Clans need to be created by the home team of the match, and the clanlink needs to be entered on the website prior to the planned game start.

Clan Chat

Unless a referee is present, teams are expected to behave in a decent manner that does not provoke the opposing or own team (including emotes, in-game chat, and other chat media). A team may pause the game and report a player to a PSR admin. If the admin agrees that the behavior is inappropriate, then the player must leave the clan. If a referee is present, the decision is decided by the referee.

Banned Cards

It is not forbidden for a deck to have a banned card/evo. However, using the banned card/evo will lead to a loss by default. This must be noticed and mentioned before the next battle starts. If nobody mentions it in the clan chat, then no free win is granted.

Project Sierra Romeo may ban one or multiple cards and/or their evolutions. If so, Project Sierra Romeo will notify all the teams on the website (part: Bans) beforehand.

Availability

It is recommended that players be available at least 5 minutes before the official start time of the first round. Players and teams should stay alert for the match starting hour set in our schedule. At that point, players should have the latest patch updates and options configured correctly.

Each team has a minimum of 10 minutes between each round; teams have a minimum of 7 minutes to submit the next round lineup. The 10 minutes start once both teams have completed their previous round.

The time will be mentioned automatically on the team page. Teams should update the page frequently to see updates.

Not Showing Up in Matches

Both teams must state that they are ready in the clan chat, at the latest 5 minutes after the planned game start time. If a team is present but not responding, then the match may begin anyway. If a team is not present within the time limit, then a free win is awarded to the present team.

A team does not need to have all 3 players present at the start of the game. However, the players may not be late for their battles.

PSR recommends that team captains save screenshots as proof with time if PSR admin requires it to award a free win.

If both teams do not show signs of activity, then PSR admin may exclude both teams from the bracket; this can happen during any round.

Launching of the Match

The home team will be responsible for requesting all battles during a match. The battle matchups will be according to the matchups provided on the website. Unless nothing else is decided and agreed between both teams or a referee, the standard request and accept battle time is one minute. One minute is not an exact time; it's an approximate time.

Refrain from denying a battle if a player is a few seconds late. Teams must always seek to complete their matches if it is possible within reason. If a PSR referee is present, then the time rules will be more exact, and the late team will be punished accordingly.

Accepting a Game by Mistake

In the event that a player accepts a game by error, that player's team will automatically lose the battle that should be played.

Calendar Changes

Project Sierra Romeo reserves the right to make changes to the match schedule and times. In this case, the Project Sierra Romeo administration will notify all teams as soon as possible.

Code of Conduct

Players and team members must always behave in a proper manner, with a proper manner being defined as a manner that does not provoke or insult any other individual in any way related to PSR, within or outside PSR events.

If evidence is provided that a team member behaved in a way that PSR admin perceives as inappropriate, then the team may receive a collective punishment in any manner PSR admin sees fit.

Inappropriate behavior also includes, but is not limited to:

Project Sierra Romeo Discretion

Any other additional act, action, or behavior that, in the sole judgment of the Project Sierra Romeo staff, violates these rules and/or the integrity standards established for this competition.

Supercell Terms of Service

By participating in the league, all staff and players agree to the Supercell Terms of Service: https://supercell.com/en/terms-of-service/

If an account gets banned by Supercell, this player cannot be changed after the deadline to send the roster.

Prize and Payment

The prize is 50 € per event. It will be paid to the team captain via PayPal.

Rules

Decisions

All decisions regarding the interpretation of these rules are defined by the Project Sierra Romeo admin team.

Rule Changes

These rules may be modified or supplemented by Project Sierra Romeo Administration when necessary, to ensure fair play and the integrity of Project Sierra Romeo. Such a change will be announced on Discord.
